SUPO, where required) Why this role matters: As a Supply Chain Specialist (Mechanics & Structures), you’ll ensure critical satellite components are delivered on time and to specification. You will play a key role in enabling ICEYE’s satellite production by securing reliable supply of mechanical and structural components. Working closely with engineering and suppliers, you help maintain quality, reduce delays, and keep missions on track. Your day-to-day responsibilities - Ensure timely procurement and delivery of Satellite components - Procurement execution and strategic sourcing of both custom-made mech parts and off-the-shelves products - Work closely with technical experts to ensure highest quality and reliability of deliverables - Maintain communication with vendors (supplier follow up) relating to changes of orders / drawings / item specs - Supplier negotiation on pricing, freight, lead time, shortage recovery etc. - Manage quality issues clearly with an efficient, practical, solution-oriented approach - Accountable for mitigating in all foreseeable and unforeseeable supply risks What we’re looking for Must haves: - A minimum 3+ years of experience working in Supply Chain / Procurement within Aerospace, Engineering, Automotive or industrial manufacturing - Solid experience with mechanical parts, in terms of production, manufacturing processes, procurement and supplier management, including build to print parts such as inserts, brackets, electronic boxes, etc. - Experience in vendor qualification, vendor auditing, vendor onboarding and vendor sourcing - Experience with COTS and Build to Print parts such as CNC milling, etc. - Reading and interpreting technical documents, such as 3D drawings, tolerances, helicoil and material requirements, etc. Nice to have (Not mandatory, but candidates with these will be favoured greatly): - Previous experience in Satellite engineering, Aerospace or Aviation industry - Strong understanding of quality management standards (ISO 9001 etc.) is a big plus - Demonstrated proven ability in mitigating delay risk, price escalation and logistics challenges - Experience working in fast-pace startup environment would be beneficial - Technical understanding of metallurgy, welding and complex manufacturing processes - Proficiency with using ERP systems (namely Netsuite Oracle) is considered as an advantage Application Process 1.
