Test Technician

Job description

As a Test Technician at Impulse , you will perform a wide range of spacecraft component and assembly testing while developing and maintaining state-of-the-art test equipment. Fabricate, assemble and maintain test equipment Perform extensive testing on a variety of test equipment including pressure and propellant systems, combustion devices, vibration tables, thermal chambers and vacuum chambers Perform calibration activities for automated acceptance testing equipment Work with designers, engineers and other technicians to improve test processes and throughput Provide training and guidance to other technicians High school diploma or equivalency certificate 3+ years of professional experience in aerospace or other relevant operations or test environment Experience with the safe operation of pressure, electrical, power and data acquisition systems Proficient with basic fabrication tools and processes (electric/pneumatic power tools, tube bending, machining, welding, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot problems with fluid and electrical systems and implement scrappy solutions
