SpaceNexus Product Roadmap 2026: What We're Building Next
From iOS launch to WebSocket feeds to AI predictions: here's our public roadmap for the rest of 2026 and what it means for space professionals.
Correction (September 27, 2026): an earlier version of this roadmap listed an Android app on Google Play as already shipped. It was not: the Android app was built, but its Google Play listing is still pending, and there is no iPhone App Store app. SpaceNexus installs from your browser as a web app at spacenexus.us/app.
Transparency is a core value at SpaceNexus. We believe the space industry professionals who use our platform should know exactly what we're building and why. Here's our public roadmap for the rest of 2026.
Already Shipped (Q1 2026)
In just the first quarter of 2026, we've deployed 84+ waves of recursive development including:
- 165+ original articles: the largest free space content library online
- Installable web app: the full platform from your phone's browser, with offline support; an Android app for Google Play was built, and its listing is pending
- AI Insights pipeline: daily AI-generated analysis with fact-checking
- Engineering tools suite: orbital, thermal, radiation, power, and link budget calculators
- Community forums and marketplace: threaded discussions, procurement, and RFQ system
- Developer API v1: 11 public endpoints with OpenAPI documentation
In Progress (Q2 2026)
- Push notification channels: Subscribe to specific alert types instead of all-or-nothing. Choose launches, funding rounds, space weather, or regulatory updates
- iOS App Store launch: SpaceNexus for iPhone and iPad with the same full-platform experience as the web app
Planned (Q2-Q3 2026)
- Home screen widgets: Glanceable countdown timers and market snapshots for Android
- Real-time WebSocket feeds: Live streaming data for launch events and market changes
- Team workspaces: Shared dashboards and collaborative watchlists for organizations
- API v2 with GraphQL: Flexible queries for developers building on our data
Exploring (H2 2026)
- Multi-language support starting with Spanish, Mandarin, and French
- Wearable integration for smartwatch alerts
- AI-powered market predictions for funding and launch trends
- Satellite imagery integration for in-platform analysis
