Systems Integration Engineer - Berlin (all genders)

Job description

Join the Pinnacle of Satellite Technology Advancement in Germany! Reflex Aerospace is at the forefront of propelling high-performance satellite technology to new heights within the German aerospace landscape. As part of Reflex Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the space industry's future. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise and enthusiasm to a team that stands for innovation and excellence. If you are ready to take on exciting challenges and be part of a company that is redefining the boundaries of satellite technology, we welcome you to embark on this thrilling journey with us! Do you love working at the intersection of hardware and software? High-level enough to script in Python but low-level enough to switch on an oscilloscope and debug some hardware? Then this role is for you! Join the Systems Integration and Verification (SIV) team to run test and verification campaigns on our very own Reflex-developed equipment. You’ll work hands-on with hardware, execute test procedures and develop tools and automation to streamline the bring-up and verification process. You will collaborate closely with all engineering teams to validate hardware and software subsystems, from lab setup to environmental test campaign execution. Please submit your CV in English, as not everyone on the hiring team is fluent in German. Your Mission: Collaborate with hardware and verification teams to plan and execute equipment-level test and verification campaigns. Support environmental test campaigns on equipment-level (including travel). Automate test execution, data collection and reporting workflows. Set up and maintain lab tools, testbeds and test environments. Work with hardware development teams to support early development and board-level bring-up. Support hardware integration activities in the lab and cleanroom. Prepare bring-up procedures for Flight Models, support their verification and coordinate handover to AIT and Missions. Your Background: Must Have A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Hands-on experience as an Integration Engineer, Hardware Engineer or in a similar position. Hands-on familiarity with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads. Ability to bring up and troubleshoot hardware independently. Experience developing and executing Python scripts for test, automation and hardware support tasks. Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux environments and using the command line as part of your daily workflow. Proficient with Git and experienced using GitLab and CI pipelines — you should be comfortable managing branches, handling merge requests, and troubleshooting CI issues independently. Nice-to-Have Experience in the aerospace industry, ideally with direct exposure to hardware. Experience with InfluxDB and Grafana. Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks. What We Offer: Collaborate with a diverse multinational team crafting the next wave of cutting-edge satellites. Embark on this exciting journey with us from the outset, leaving your indelible mark on a dynamic company and playing a direct role in shaping the future of the space industry. Keep your energy levels high with company-sponsored memberships for Urban Sports Club as well a discount in the public transport. Access to Corporate Benefits - A website with many discounts for various brands. An annual training budget of 1.500€. We exclusively offer permanent employment contracts, reflecting our commitment to building long-term relationships and supporting sustainable career growth within our organization. A 20% contribution to your private pension plan. We provide a hybrid work model along with flexible working hours, empowering you as the owner of your time management. Enjoy 30 days of paid vacation and a special company holiday on April 12th, celebrating the International Day of Human Space Flight and the spirit of exploration. Join Reflex Aerospace and be a driving force in shaping the next era of space exploration! We look forward to your application.
