As a Precision Inspector at Impulse , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every component, system, and process involved in building spacecraft & engine hardware meets our rigorous standards for spaceflight. Provide detailed in-process inspections on spacecraft & engine hardware (electrical, mechanical, propulsion) assemblies, using detailed drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements Work alongside CMM programmers, performing final inspection Identify, document, and resolve production and test anomalies in accordance with prescribed procedures and pursue corrective action as required Communicate and help resolve quality related issues as they relate to the specific engineering departments Document production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes as required Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives High school diploma or equivalency certificate 4+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, aviation, military or manufacturing environment
