Week in Space Data, every Friday.
Infostellar operates StellarStation, a cloud-based marketplace connecting satellite operators with available ground-station antenna time, letting station owners monetize idle capacity worldwide.
ACQUIREDInfostellar, a Tokyo-based subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric since July 2026, provides ground segment as a service (GSaaS) through StellarStation, a cloud platform that virtually networks ground stations around the world so satellite operators can book contacts through a single service. It also offers antenna hosting and ground segment support such as radio licensing and frequency coordination.
Infostellar has built a sharing economy model for satellite ground stations. StellarStation acts as an intermediary platform that aggregates unused antenna time from ground station operators around the world and makes it available to satellite operators via API. This approach maximizes utilization of existing ground infrastructure while reducing costs for satellite operators.
Not scored The Space Score is a 0 to 1000 snapshot of a space company's size and activity, relative to the other companies we track. It combines size (headcount, market value and revenue, 30%), U.S. federal space contracts (20%), equity raised (15%), momentum (15%) and, for launch companies, orbital launches (20%), so it leans heavily on size. It is descriptive: not a forecast, a rating or investment advice.
This company is not in the Space Score roster. Only company profiles with an active or pre-revenue status are scored.
