SpaceNexus Research
An annual seat for firms. Everything on SpaceNexus stays free to read — Research is the full history, the exports, the portfolio-level analysis and the seats that make it usable inside a team.
$399 per year · 5 named seats · one invoice · no trial
Download the complete funding-round history, the supply-chain relationship and BOM-risk tables, and the Space Score time series as CSV or JSON — every row, no page cap. The same data stays free to read on the site; Research is what makes it usable in a model.
Save a basket of companies and get its concentration by supply-chain tier and country, the BOM risk items and active shortages that touch it, and the single-source dependencies underneath it.
The daily Space Score time series with the per-pillar breakdown and the methodology version behind every reading. History starts the day snapshots began — it is not backfilled, and the page says so.
Multi-criteria screens across funding rounds, Space Score and sector, saved to your account, with an optional weekly email that fires only when the result set actually changes.
A dated quarterly built from our own data: funding by sector and round type, the largest rounds, Space Score movers and the hiring-index delta, with every figure traceable to the rows behind it.
The named, dated releases — Most Active Investors, the Launch Cadence and Slip Report, Supply-Chain Concentration, the Hiring Index and the Space Score Top 25 — publish a public summary with the top of every table. Research is the complete row set and its CSV and JSON exports, with the citation, the method and the coverage limits attached to the file.
Every prime federal award we can attribute to a tracked space company, from USAspending.gov: obligated dollars, awarding agency and sub-agency, award type, period of performance, the government’s own space product/service code, and a link to the record for each one. Screen it by company, agency, date, size and space-coded-only — which for a diversified prime is the difference between its space business and its whole federal book — then export the rows. Prime awards only, obligated dollars rather than announced ceilings, and nothing classified: the coverage limits ship with every download.
Every Form 4 and Form 5 transaction line we parse for the listed space names — insider, role, code, shares, price, value and a link to the filing — plus Schedule 13D/G holders of 5% or more and the full EDGAR filing index behind them. Open-market purchases and sales (codes P and S) are kept strictly apart from grants and tax withholding, which most datasets add together. Screen it by company and window, and export the rows. US-listed issuers only; parsed history begins 2025-01-01; this is disclosure reporting, not investment advice.
Up to 5 named users, one annual invoice. The account that pays gets Research, which sits ABOVE Professional in TIER_ACCESS (src/lib/subscription.ts) and therefore carries every Professional capability as well — buying this does not also require a Professional subscription. An invited colleague’s seat unlocks the Research workspace — exports, exposure, screens, score history, the quarterly and the full row sets behind every release — and carries no billing authority; /research spells that difference out rather than leaving it to be discovered.
Named releases on a fixed calendar, each one computed from our own rows rather than written. The summary and the methodology are public so the release is citable; the full row set and the export are part of a seat.

Pull the complete round history for a sector into your own model, screen for the raises that match a thesis, and see what a target company’s supply chain actually depends on before an IC meeting.
Track where capital is going quarter by quarter, watch which suppliers your competitors and your own programme share, and get the concentration picture you cannot assemble from press releases.
Screen for newly funded companies that just became able to buy what you sell, with a weekly alert that fires only when the list actually changes.
Not for enthusiasts. If you are here to follow launches, read the news and play Space Tycoon, all of that is free and always will be — see the free and Professional plans.
Every dataset ships with this statement attached to the file, not just printed on this page.
| Dataset | Coverage |
|---|---|
| Funding rounds (full history) | Every funding round we hold, from the earliest dated round to today, joined to the company profile. Amounts are as reported; undisclosed rounds are present with a blank amount rather than dropped. Sources are named per row. |
| Supply-chain companies | Our curated aerospace supply-chain roster: primes and tier 1-3 suppliers with country, products, declared customers and suppliers, and a criticality rating. Curated, not exhaustive — it covers the suppliers that matter to Western launch, satellite and station programmes. |
| Supply-chain relationships | Directed supplier-to-customer edges with geopolitical risk, criticality and, where disclosed, annual contract value. Edges are documented relationships only; an absent edge means we have no public evidence, not that none exists. |
| Material shortages | Tracked material and component shortages with severity, affected products, named alternative suppliers and geopolitical drivers. Maintained by hand; dates reflect when we recorded the shortage, not necessarily when it began. |
| BOM risk items | Bill-of-materials risk register for orbital systems: component, category, risk level, lead time, primary suppliers, qualified alternatives and historical incidents. Analyst-maintained; the risk levels are our assessment, and the factors behind each one are exported with it. |
One subscription covers 5 named users: the person who pays, plus 4 colleagues invited by email. Invites are single-use and bound to the address they were sent to, so forwarding one does not transfer a seat.
The account that pays gets everything Professional has, at no extra cost. Research sits above Professional in the tier model (TIER_ACCESS in src/lib/subscription.ts), so the payer’s account carries every Professional capability — the supply-chain map, the regulatory calendar and compliance suite, API access, custom alerts, watchlists and the ad-free site — plus everything on this page. You do not need to buy Professional as well, and nothing on this page is priced as though you did.
An invited colleague’s seat is narrower, and we would rather say so before you buy than after: it unlocks the Research workspace — exports, portfolio exposure, screens, Space Score history, the quarterly and the full row sets behind every release — but it does not by itself confer the Professional capabilities listed above, and it carries no billing authority. Only the account that pays can invite or revoke seats.
Need more than 5? Talk to us and we will quote the seat count you need.

Every edition and its archive lives on the release calendar, where a release that has missed its date is shown as overdue rather than quietly skipped.
A live briefing call for seat holders is built and waiting on a date. Nothing on this page promises one until it is scheduled — you can see the state of it on the call page.
| Space Score history | Daily Space Score readings with the per-pillar breakdown and the methodology version in force. History begins the day snapshots started (2026-09) and is NOT backfilled — earlier dates do not exist and we will not invent them. The current leaderboard stays free for everyone at /space-score. |
|---|
| Portfolio exposure | Computed over our curated supply-chain roster and BOM risk register, which cover Western launch, satellite and station programmes. A holding we cannot match is listed under "unmatched" rather than scored as zero risk, and an absent supplier edge means we have no public evidence of one — not that none exists. |

This is not a mock-up. Below is a live extract from SpaceNexus Most Active Space Investors, Q2 2026, read from our database when this page loaded — the first 3 of 35 rows in one of its tables, in the same columns and the same CSV a seat holder downloads.
Investors ranked by the number of rounds they are recorded as leading inside the quarter.
| # | Investor | Rounds led | Disclosed total | Median round | Sectors backed | Companies |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Washington Harbour Partners | 2 | $93.0M | $46.5M | analytics; infrastructure | Scout Space; Turion Space |
| 2 | Geodesic Capital | 2 | $62.0M | $31.0M | launch; satellite | Katalyst Space; Portal Space |
| 3 | Eclipse Ventures | 1 | $650.0M | $650.0M | defense | True Anomaly |
Generated by the same function that writes the download, over the same 10 columns — the file is wider than the table above, because an export is the wide version by design.

What this edition cannot see: WHAT THE CAPITAL FIGURE COUNTS. A round reaches the disclosed-capital total only if it passes two tests, and both are read from fields the row already carries. Full coverage limits.
Every edition of every release is public in this form — headline figures, methodology, coverage limits and the top of each table — on the release calendar. A seat is the complete row set and its CSV and JSON.
