LandSpace's Zhuque-2 became the world's first methane/liquid-oxygen rocket to reach orbit, and the company is now focused on medium-lift reusable launch vehicles.
ACTIVELandSpace is a pioneering Chinese commercial launch company that made history with the Zhuque-2, the world's first methane/liquid oxygen rocket to successfully reach orbit. The company is focused on medium-lift reusable launch vehicles.
LandSpace achieved a historic milestone in July 2023 when its Zhuque-2 became the world's first methane/LOX-fueled rocket to reach orbit, beating both SpaceX Starship and ULA Vulcan to this achievement. The company is one of the most well-funded Chinese commercial launch startups, with plans to develop a reusable version of Zhuque-2 and scale up production for high-frequency launches serving both domestic and international customers.
