Week in Space Data, every Friday.
Morpheus Space develops scalable electric propulsion systems for smallsats and CubeSats, enabling in-orbit maneuvering, constellation management, and end-of-life deorbiting.
ACTIVEMorpheus Space, a 2018 spinoff of research at TU Dresden, develops electric propulsion systems for satellites based on field emission electric propulsion (FEEP), including its GO-2 system, which it produces in Dresden; it also has operations in El Segundo, California.
Morpheus Space is a German-American company that builds miniaturized electric propulsion systems for small satellites. Their product line ranges from nano-thruster modules for CubeSats to higher-thrust systems for microsatellites, all based on their proprietary ion electrospray technology. The systems enable satellite operators to perform orbit raising, station-keeping, constellation phasing, collision avoidance, and controlled deorbiting. Morpheus Space was spun out of TU Dresden and has rapidly grown to serve commercial constellation operators, government agencies, and academic missions worldwide.
Not ranked: Data in 1 pillar; at least 2 are needed to rank.
