Rivada Space Networks is developing a 600-satellite LEO constellation with laser inter-satellite links, aimed at sovereign, encrypted connectivity for government and defense customers.
ACTIVERivada Space Networks, a Munich-based subsidiary of Rivada Networks, is developing the Outernet, a laser-linked mesh network of 600 low Earth orbit satellites that routes data through space itself to deliver low-latency, secure connectivity.
Rivada Space Networks is building what it calls an OuterNET - a fully meshed optical network in space that routes data between satellites before delivering it to dedicated ground stations. This architecture enables data sovereignty, as traffic can be routed entirely in orbit without transiting foreign ground segments.
