Can you see a rocket launch from Virginia Beach?
The whole ascent, low on the horizon. Virginia Beach and the rest of Hampton Roads are far enough that liftoff itself is below the horizon, but the rocket climbs into view to the north-northeast within seconds: Antares and Electron night launches are routinely seen from the Oceanfront.

Which direction do I look from Virginia Beach?
Face NNE (22°) toward Wallops. The rocket rises from that point on the horizon and arcs downrange: for Wallops launches that generally means east or northeast over the Atlantic.
