Space Score Top 25
The Space Score is a 0 to 1000 snapshot of a space company's size and activity, relative to the other companies we track. It combines size (headcount, market value and revenue, 30%), U.S. federal space contracts (20%), equity raised (15%), momentum (15%) and, for launch companies, orbital launches (20%), so it leans heavily on size. It is descriptive: not a forecast, a rating or investment advice.
The 25 highest-scoring ranked companies (ranked and scored counts not recorded in the quarter-end archive), on a 0–1000 composite computed from our own data across scale, government space demand, capital access, momentum and flight record. Inputs measured 2026-09-30. Every metric, weight and company breakdown is published.
This is the first published Space Score Top 25. There is no prior quarter to compare against, so the movement column is empty for every row. It will fill in from the next edition onward, measured against this table.

Methodology
•The Space Score is a 0–1000 composite computed daily from SpaceNexus data across five pillars: Scale (30%), Government space demand (20%), Capital access (15%), Momentum (15%) and Flight record (20%). Every metric, formula, window and source is published on the methodology page, with a per-company breakdown.
•Each metric is a percentile rank among the tracked companies that have a value for it, so the score measures relative standing on evidence we hold, not management quality, and not a forecast.
•A pillar that does not fit a business (a flight record for a company that does not launch) is dropped and the weights re-normalised. A pillar that applies but has no data counts at the roster median for that pillar (the middle measured company), so a gap scores a company like a typical measured one; a company with no measured pillar gets no score. Companies with too little data are scored but not ranked, and every row carries a confidence label.
•This table ranks the top 25 ranked companies by total score. Companies with the same total share a rank, shown as =8, and a tie at 25th place keeps every tied company. Within a tie, rows are listed by data coverage, then company name (A–Z), so the order is reproducible; that listing order is not a ranking.

Every figure here is arithmetic over our own rows (counts, sums, deltas and rankings), and the page and its export are built by the same code, so they cannot disagree. How this edition is computed
•Small differences in total are within the uncertainty of the inputs, so read neighbouring ranks as close rather than as a strict order. Each row shows how many of the inputs that apply to the company we actually measured.
•Editions are quarterly and dated by when the inputs were measured. The current quarter updates daily and freezes when the quarter ends. Rank movement is shown only against a previous edition computed under the same methodology version; the hand-set table retired on 2026-09-23 is never compared against.
•This is not investment advice. The Space Score is a descriptive composite, not a forecast or a recommendation.
