Manifest changes observed in the month
Every launch date move our ledger recorded inside the month, netted per launch per day and classified by the Launch Ledger method. Only a move between two dates known to the day counts as a slip; a placeholder such as "NET 2026" rolling to "2027" is listed but never counted. Caught up: the date changed while our sync was not refreshing this launch (or Launch Library 2 says it changed earlier), so the day we saw it is not the day it happened. Listed, never counted in weekly, monthly or quarterly figures.

Launch slips by provider
Held back until the month's ledger holds at least 25 real slips. This month holds 7, and a rate computed from that many would not mean anything.
Nothing to report in this table for this edition. An empty table here means we recorded nothing, not that nothing happened.
Vehicles not currently flying
From the hand-maintained vehicle status sheet. Each row carries the date the entry was last checked, so a stale sheet is visible rather than silently trusted.

Methodology
•Launch counts come from the SpaceEvent table, restricted to rows carrying a Launch Library 2 identifier and a terminal outcome (completed or failed). Curated seed events, which are not launches, are excluded by identifier shape.
•A launch is attributed to the month its launch date falls in, in UTC.
•"Attempts" counts every launch that left the pad and reached a recorded outcome. Success rate is successes divided by attempts for that month; a month with no attempts reports no rate rather than zero.
•Provider is the agency recorded on the launch row as Launch Library spells it; no provider names are merged or renamed.
•Slip figures come from the LaunchDateChange ledger, which records every manifest date move we observe. The ledger starts on 2026-08-29 and cannot be backfilled by anyone, us included: Launch Library exposes no revision history. Months before that date report launches without slips, and the page says so.
What this edition can and cannot see
Coverage limits travel with the numbers, here and in every export of them.
•This edition counts 27 launch attempts recorded for September 2026: rows carrying a Launch Library identifier and a terminal outcome. Scrubbed and still-upcoming launches are not attempts and are not counted.
•Launch counts describe our tracker. A month our launch history does not reach reports zero attempts, which is why every edition prints the count rather than only a rate.
•Schedule movement comes from a ledger that began recording on 2026-08-29 and cannot be backfilled: Launch Library keeps no revision history, so no one can reconstruct moves observed before that date.
•Per-provider slip statistics are withheld this month: 7 real slips is below the 25 needed for a rate to mean anything.
•Of 72 changes our sync saw when they happened (netted per launch per day), 7 were slips (a day or more later, both dates known to the day), 1 pulled a launch in and 28 moved it by less than a day. 36 were placeholder rolls, firmings or lost dates, which are listed but not counted as slips. The median real move of a day or more was 3.5 days.

Provider names are as Launch Library records them; no names are merged, so a group launching under two recorded names appears twice.

Standings are editorial fact-keeping, not computed from the tracker. They are the one hand-maintained input on this page and they are labelled as such.
•
Only a change our sync saw when it happened is counted in a month (Launch Ledger method 1.1, 2026-09-29). A change it only caught up with late (the launch was not being refreshed, or Launch Library 2 records the edit as earlier) happened on a day we do not know, so it is listed, labelled "Caught up" and left out of every figure. While any of the month’s ledger rows have not yet been checked for late catch-up, the edition says how many.
•Per-provider slip statistics appear only once the ledger holds enough observations to be worth reporting; below that threshold the section states the count instead of publishing a rate.
•Vehicle standings are read from the hand-maintained vehicle status sheet, each entry carrying its own as-of date, which is printed.
•
A further 29 changes were recorded this month only because our sync caught up with them late: the launch date changed while we were not refreshing that launch (or Launch Library 2 says the change was made earlier), so the day we saw it is not the day it happened. They are listed in the table, labelled "Caught up", and counted in no figure.
•No figure on this page is a forecast. This release publishes the record; it does not project cadence.
