Occurred on Sep 28, 2026: Starship entered orbit for the first time, deployed all 26 Starlink V3 satellites, completed a deorbit burn and splashed down in the Pacific, SpaceX reported. The booster splashed down in the Gulf of America. See Starship flight history

Occurred later than projected, on a test flight: Flight 14 (Sep 28, 2026), Starship's first orbital flight, deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites into orbit, and the Starlink team made contact with all 26, SpaceX reported.
